Green belt

Did I ever mention that DD-15’s favourite sport is judo?

It’s not so strange, really, seeing that I used to love jujitsu, and went to jujitsu training three times a week with my younger sister.

That was a long time ago, and unfortunately I can no longer practise jujitsu, but now you see where my junior warrior got her love for judo.

DD-15 has been practising judo for four years now, and today she was tested for the green belt, the third kyu. She performed brilliantly. As usual, I might add.

I took loads of pictures, and some were even of acceptable quality. Most weren’t, though, because I’ve only got a simple camera, so it’s not really suited to taking action shots.

Still, I’m happy with the pictures I took.

Not only is it really nice to have these memories captured, but DD-15 will love to see them back in her Homeschool Portfolio.

So there we are. Let’s just throw that orange belt out of the window. It’s time to wear the green belt.

Well done to my junior warrior. I am so proud of you!
